The Xi Kappa-at-Large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing recognizes senior nursing students and community nurse leaders who have demonstrated achievements in nursing, leadership qualities and high professional standards.

28 UJ students will perform in the University of Jamestown's stage production of Kiss Me, Kate. Performances will begin at 7:30 pm on November 5th, 6th, and 7th. Kiss Me, Kate is part of University of Jamestown's year long celebration of Shakespeare's life and works. The play follows a Broadway-bound musical production of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew as romance and egos complicate everything.

The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) announced its sixth edition of the Players-of-the-Week honors on Monday, October 5th, 2015 Madison Wendel of Jamestown (N.D.) was chosen as its Attacker-of-the-Week.

Samantha VanHeuveln was named as Women's Runner-of-the-Week by the North Star Athletic Association, announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.

North Star Athletic Association announced the Cross Country Runner's of the week, naming Matthew Young from University of Jamestown as the Men's Runner of the Week.

The first edition of the North Star Athletic Association Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week was announced Tuesday. Bailey Boraas of Jamestown (N.D.) was selected as NSAA Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week

The fall class of 2019 attending the University of Jamestown include nine local Jamestown students.

The University of Jamestown had a conference-best 96 students named as Top Scholar-Athletes, announced by the North Star Athletic Association. In order to qualify for the award, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.25 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Madison Johnson of Kindred, ND will be attending the University of Jamestown this fall where she will major in Exercise Science.

Abby Silvers of Avon, MN will be attending the University of Jamestown in the fall where she will be majoring in Exercise Science with the intent of eventually enrolling in the University's Fargo-based Physical Therapy Program.
