Josh Carter of Elkmont AL will be attending University of Jamestown in the fall of 2015. He intends to major in history and participate in football.

Logan Kackman of Fargo, ND will be attending University of Jamestown in the Fall of 2015. Logan intends to major in criminal justice and participate in intramural sports and possibly football.

ReeAnn Christianson of Rugby, ND will be attending University of Jamestown in the Fall of 2015. She intends to major in Biology and participate in Band at the University.

Riley Henderson of Bismarck will be attending University of Jamestown this fall. He intends to major in Computer Science, Business, and Engineering.

William Parks of Perham, MN will be attending University of Jamestown in the Fall of 2015. He intends to major in accounting and will be participating in wrestling.

Regan Everson of Gettysburg, SD will be attending the University of Jamestown in the fall. She intends to major in elementary education and participate in volleyball.

Shantel Bender of Hazelton, ND will be attending University of Jamestown in the Fall of 2015 where she will major in nursing.

Jacob Rice to attend University of Jamestown in the fall of 2015. Rice is a graduate of Mitchell Senior High School in Mitchell, SD. He will be participating in Golf at the University of Jamestown and will be majoring in Exercise Science.

Kennedy Conzemius of Breckenridge will be attending UJ in the Fall of 2015. Kennedy will be participating in volleyball at the University of Jamestown where she intends to major in exercise science as a stepping stone to the University's Physical Therapy Program.

Jenna Doyle will be attending University of Jamestown this Fall. Jenna is a graduate of Princeton High School in Princeton, MN. Jenna will be playing basketball at the University of Jamestown where she will major in Biology.

On May 14th, UJ students, faculty, and friends traveled to Italy to gain a taste of culture.

Michael Nelson, who studies Business Administration and Marketing at University of Jamestown, has taken an internship at UTC Aerospace in Jamestown.

Andrea Knudsvig was awarded a scholarship from the Jamestown American Association of University Women to attend a National Conference for College Women Student Leaders in Baltimore Maryland.

University of Jamestown, Jamestown, N.D., recognized 200 students during the school's 109th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 9 at the Jamestown Civic Center.

64 students graduated with honors at University of Jamestown's Commencement Ceremony held May 9th at the Jamestown Civic Center. A Cum Laude designation indicates a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 - 3.6999. Magna Cum Laude indicates a 3.7 - 3.8999, and Suma Cum Laude indicates a GPA of 3.9 or greater.

The Dean's List at the University of Jamestown is comprised of students earning at least a 3.5 grade point average during the semester and taking at least 12 credits.

University of Jamestown students received a multitude of awards at a May 5th Luncheon held in Fargo for the 2015 North Dakota Professional Communicators College Contest.

The Spirit of the Journey Award honors graduating seniors who embody the ideals of the University of Jamestown's Journey to Success. This student demonstrates an exemplary level of achievement associated with the goals of the Journey to Success. The Spirit of the Journey Award is one of the most prestigious awards that a student can receive from the Office of Student Life. The recipients of this award must have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and must be graduating May 2015.

The Pay it Forward Award honors a student who consistently inspires others to do good deeds and serves as a role model to other students in their behavior, service to others, and their ability to exemplify what it means to be a Jimmie.

The Student life Outstanding Student Leader Award recognizes an outstanding student leader at the University of Jamestown who has demonstrated a pattern of success in all aspects of their college experience.

The First Year Excellence Award is given to a first year student who has demonstrated a pattern of success in their transition to the University of Jamestown. Student must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and must have completed 15 credit hours.

At the April 10th, 2014 University of Jamestown Honors Convocation, Andrea Knudsvig was named college fellow in Business Administration.

The Knightline Dance Team has worked very hard this year with creating their own choreography, picking out music, finding time to practice, and much more. This was no easy task, but the team has done a great job and they're hard work has definitely paid off.

The University of Jamestown Student Senate is composed of six elected members from each of the four classes, a four member Executive Board, a few ex-officio members, and a staff advisor. The senate is the voice of the students.

On Wednesday, April 29th at 7:30 PM in the University of Jamestown's Voorhees Chapel, the Convocation Committee sponsors the UJ History Club's presentation on World War II.

The President's Key Award is given annually to the highest ranking student in the senior class who has spent all four years at the University of Jamestown.
